Before becoming a Mama, my husband and I had a few great adventure holidays. We toured the west coast of America following Route 66 where possible. We were on Harley Davidson motorbikes, visiting the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, camped in Yosemite National Park, saw the biggest tree in the world, and the salt flats of Utah.
I’ve been an account manager for a Fabric and Wallcovering manufacturer for eight years, and am passionate about the product and the company. I oversee eight counties and about three hundred customers, which means I spend a lot of my time behind the wheel, but radio two keeps me company!
I love meeting new people who are going through the same highs and lows of becoming a parent, and who totally understand, also watching my little girl learn new skills like clapping her hands or giving me a “high five”.
Teething, which is never ending and not knowing what’s wrong when you’ve tried everything you can think of.
A bottle opener! No sorry a Motorola video baby monitor. It was suggested by a few friends who had invested. Well worth the money.
More as a teenager, doing lots of cross country running and athletics, then when I was in the TA but have had arthritic knee problems for last the 9 years which has made it difficult, but I did enjoy horse riding up until I was pregnant.
I am a very lucky lady my husband does all the cooking and always has. He is also a big fan of the ”batch cook” so I would have to say his slow cooked pulled pork and beef stew, But I am also partial to a mixed korai Indian take-away.
I’m still on maternity leave at the moment. But need to get out of the house every day for a walk around Watermead Park, or one of your classes.
Going to the Hairdressers, or shopping without having to think, its great .
Yes, definitely, now I have got into the routine of regular exercise. I feel on top of the world after a workout, and feel a real sense of achievement. Before I became a Mama, I would only do regular exercise a month before a skiing holiday.
