Highlights from 2015

To round off the year I thought it would be rather lovely to look at a few of my 2015 highlights. Needless to say, many relate to those of you who take part in my pregnancy and postnatal fitness because you are all such a huge and genuinely wonderful part of my life.

As the years go by, your resilience and strength never fail to amaze me and without wishing to sound corny – because I truly mean this – I am profoundly thankful every day of my life to have the privilege of meeting and working with so many wonderful women.

So thank you. Thank you so very much.

Looking back on 2015…

  1. I FINALLY completed the first draft of my cook book for busy mums. Now the tough job: find a publisher!

  2. Rebecca, one of the lovely Mamas who does my classes, followed my nutritional advice and lost 18kg – that’s 3 stone – this year without dieting.  She featured as my Mum of the Month and you can read the blog here – I am so proud and inspired by what she has achieved and overcome in 2015: postnatal depression, anxiety, and OCD. She has fought and won! A huge congratulations Rebecca Dobson.

  3. My online pregnancy and postnatal Pilates programme received a BabyWorld Mums Love Award – the independent testers absolutely loved the week by week workouts and all the support available to them as members. I am so pleased that this award comes directly from the opinions of mums.

  4. I want to celebrate Fareena and her miracle daughter Valentina. Fareena was doing my Fit4Birth pregnancy fitness when her daughter made an appearance at only 23 weeks gestation weighing 1lb. Valentina is now over a year old – she not only survived but is a thriving and truly gorgeous, smiley little girl. Fareena – you are a true wonder. Congratulations. You can read Fareena’s story here in my Mum of the Month blog.

  1. FitPro is the world’s largest and most prestigious fitness organisation. Many of you will remember that in 2014 I won their top national award for UK fitness professionals. A couple of months ago they invited me to be a My Group Fit Ambassador for Fitpro. I’m truly proud to be an ambassador for such a highly regarded organisation.

  2. I would also like to mention the quietly strong Chandni who first started doing my online postnatal fitness in 2014, following the birth – and then death – of her beautiful, always-to-be-remembered, little boy Aaron. In 2015 I finally met Chandni as she was now expecting her little daughter. The beautiful little Eleanor was born only born 8 weeks ago. Chandni has her perfect little daughter and keeps her little boy in her heart. You can read more about Chandni’s story here.

  3. This year my online pregnancy and postnatal fitness has featured in Your FitnessMother & Baby magazine, Prima Baby, Gurgle, B magazine, Baby World, My Baba, Baby London, Mum and Tots.
