Emily is FitBumpMum-of-the-month - congratulations!

Hi Emily! First of all, congratulations on being Mum-of-the-month!

You’ve just become a mum – tell me a little bit!

What aspects of motherhood are you most enjoying so far?

My cuddles with Curtis, finally being a family and as the day's go by noticing all the subtle changes to Curtis.

And the not-such-fun bits?

Mainly the nightime feeds, sleep is a distant memory! and I don't think anyone can prepare you for it.

What’s your current favourite gadget in motherhood, the one you can’t live without?
And what about in pregnancy – did you have a favourite gadget?

I didn't really have a gadget, I guess the main thing I used were books and pregnancy app's on my phone which were interesting to read about the day to day development of my bump and now for the development of the baby.

You do FitBumpBox fitness with me but have you always been into exercise?

To a certain extent, I am a keen horse rider (although this is on hold for the time being), and in the past I have done running to keep fit.

Are you into healthy eating? What’s your all-time favourite dish?

I do like to do the cooking at home, my favourite dish is a lovely homemade Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

Have you worked out how to find the time to fit in exercise yet?

At the moment no I haven't the hours seem to pass so quickly through the day but I am getting more into a routine now and finding he sleeps in the afternoon quite regulary so that is when I am most likely to do it.

White, milk or dark chocolate?

White chocolate and more white chocolate!

We all need a bit of “me time” when we’re mums. What’s your favourite “me time” activity and will you carry on with it now that you’re a mum?

Cooking and sitting down with friends which I will still carry on doing.

Fitness for ever?

I hope so I think it is healthy for the mind as well as my body and to have some time to think about myself in this hectic new world of motherhood.
