I’m 31 weeks and feel great apart from being considerably more tired now I’m in the third trimester.
The best part for me so far has definitely been feeling baby move, especially when he seems to be responsive to mine or my husband’s voice.
I really struggled in the first trimester with sickness which felt like it was never-ending! Though thankfully for me it did end and by week 14/15 I felt so much better. I still have off days where the queasiness comes back but it’s never as bad as before.
My maternity pillow. It’s really helped me to sleep on my side and not my back. Just that little extra support has made sleeping a lot better.
I love being active and can’t wait to be able to put my full energy into getting my fitness back to where it was pre-pregnancy.
I would like to think I have a pretty well balanced diet. My main ethos is to make meals from fresh ingredients and not pre-processed products. I try to have a really varied diet and love tasting new things. I think my favourite dish would be Ramen or a basic stir-fry using loads of fresh ginger, garlic and a bit of soy sauce with crunchy veg, prawns or turkey and brown rice.
At first it was hard, especially when no-ones knows! As a graphic designer I’m unfortunately sat at a desk most of the time which isn’t great. Though, now I am more tired it’s maybe a blessing in disguise. Everyone at work has been so lovely and really supportive.
Yes definitely. Even so, I am feeling a little apprehensive about leaving work and being out of the loop. Though I have been told that I’ll soon forget about this when baby arrives!
I haven’t had my NCT classes yet which from what I hear may be a bit of a reality check! At the moment I’m not really worried about it, what happens will happen.
Getting to know our child’s personality and watching him learn and discover new things.
Spending some quality time with my husband, catching up with friends or doing something active like a bike ride through the country lanes.
