Sunday 6th April 2025 8.30am-11.30amm

Step into the heart of nature this spring and uncover the secrets of wild edibles. Immerse yourself in an enriching early morning foraging course, led by expert forager, Marvin, where you’ll explore the Grange Linear Park and its wildflower meadows. Come along bright and early for an 8.30am start on Sunday 6th April!

This hands-on course is perfect for nature enthusiasts, foodies, or anyone curious about the edible and medicinal wonders of plants, trees, and mushrooms. You’ll learn to identify seasonal treasures and collect a few greens to bring them along for a special vegan breakfast!

After your foraging adventure, indulge in a delicious plant-based zestEAT breakfast, using some of the foraged greens that you have collected.  There will be time to relax and enjoy the fruits of your morning efforts while sharing stories and connecting with like-minded nature lovers.

What to Bring for the foraging: Comfortable (warmer then for walking) outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes, and a sense of curiosity! Scissors and small basket or paper back. We will only forage for a “taster” to maintain responsible foraging rules. Please also bring a small shot glass and spoon (if you forget you can hire from Charnwood Foraging against a 2GBP deposit – cash only please) as if season allows we will be bringing preprepared samples for you to taste as we learn about the plants we see.

Booking is essential and numbers are limited.

NB zestEAT events are NOT suitable for those with severe food allergies
